It takes a lot of funding to keep the doors open at Galmi Hospital. Would you prayerfully consider contributing financially to our work?
Galmi Hospital is owned by SIM International and operated under the oversight of SIM Niger. Unlike many other countries, Niger does not have a nationalized health care system, nor do individuals have health insurance. Costs of medical care are very expensive, especially for a population with extremely limited resources.
At the SIM Galmi Hospital we believe that God loves the people of Niger and we strive to demonstrate His love through compassionate health care. While we would prefer that everyone has access to adequate medical care, we recognize that there are certain aspects of the business model of Galmi Hospital that must be sustainable.
All of our patients are charged an affordable fee for both inpatient and outpatient services. These charges cover the cost of employee wages, hospital utilities, an appropriate stock of medications and necessary medical supplies which are necessary for regular operations.
How to Give
In order to continue providing compassionate care to the people of Niger, we need your help! SIM is able to accept financial donations online from individuals who live in select countries. If you do not see your country listed, contact the SIM office nearest to you to find out how you can give.
To ensure your contribution goes exactly where you want it to, check out our SIM Galmi Hospital projects. Each project listed has a unique webpage providing details about the project work as well as how to give specifically to that project.
